Node Rewards
Wafer conversion fee
In the xDATA, users can earn Wafer by completing tasks and campaigns and then convert Wafer to xDIN by paying a small amount of converting fee to rent Chipper Nodes’ computing power.
The converting fee contains a fixed fee ( in $BNB) and $xDIN network cost ranging from 5% to 30% of the xDIN converted per request depending on the total daily converting requests and computing resources ( online Chipper Nodes). Normally, if the total converting requests increases with the computing resources simultaneously, the xDIN network rewards will remain at 8% - 10%. 100% of the fee (aka. Network Bonus) will be allocated to the node that handles the request.
When a request is raised, the system will automatically choose a node to handle the converting request from the low to high level to protect low-level nodes. As each node has its own computing attributes, namely Computing Limit and Computing Power, they have different handling power (number of request handling).
The number of requests one node can handle daily = the node’s Computing Limit / the total number of daily converting requests * the node’s Computing Power *0.1
Node Tier | Computing Power | Computing Limit |
---|---|---|
1 | 100 | 1000 |
2 | 150 | 2000 |
3 | 200 | 2500 |
4 | 300 | 3000 |
5 | 400 | 4000 |
6 | 500 | 5000 |
7 | 700 | 7000 |
8 | 900 | 10000 |
9 | 1200 | 15000 |
10 | 1800 | 20000 |
It means higher-level nodes can handle more requests daily and earns more fees.
Regardless of the node level, each request allows the conversion of 150 wafers into 15 xDIN, meaning 10 wafers = 1 xDIN.
xDIN is a critical credential for obtaining DIN.
At TGE, DIN airdrops will be allocated based on the proportion of xDIN held, with 100% released immediately and no lock-up period.
After the TGE, rewards will be calculated in real-time, allowing users to claim them anytime.
DIN Airdrop
Tier 1 nodes are for 1) our early and loyal users who holds our paid Chip NFT and have been active for a while; 2) our community OGs and GoDINs. Except for Tier 1 nodes, all other nodes from Tier 2 to Tier 10 will receive varying amounts of DIN airdrops at the DIN TGE.
60% of the airdrops will be unlocked at the TGE.
The remaining 40% will be unlocked linearly over 3 months.
Node Tier | DIN Airdrop to Each Node per Tier | TGE Unlock | Monthly Unlock |
---|---|---|---|
2 | 10.00 | 6 | 1.33 |
3 | 15.00 | 9 | 2.00 |
4 | 24.00 | 14.40 | 3.20 |
5 | 43.00 | 25.80 | 5.73 |
6 | 62.00 | 37.20 | 8.27 |
7 | 100.00 | 60.00 | 13.33 |
8 | 180.00 | 108.00 | 24.00 |
9 | 340.00 | 204.00 | 45.33 |
10 | 553.00 | 331.80 | 73.73 |
DIN Mining
Up to 25% of the total supply of DIN will be allocated to reward LV.2 to LV.10 Chipper Node for their contributions to the network’s operation and security. The emission adopts a release model of 50% unlocking in the first year and then halving per year.
Each node can mine DIN by keeping their nodes “Online.” Rewards are earned based on a formula that considers the node's computing limit and cumulative uptime, with calculations happening in real-time. Uptime is tracked from the moment the node goes Online until it goes Offline, with each Online-Offline duration adding to the node’s cumulative uptime. The reward formula is as follows:
Users have three options for claiming rewards, each with a different claiming percentage based on the selected period.
Days | Reward Claim Percentage |
---|---|
30 | 25% |
90 | 60% |
120 | 100% |
After each claim, the remaining percentage (if any) will be distributed as follows:
50% will be injected into the treasury for protocol development;
50% will be burned for DIN deflation.
